Septembre 2006: DREAM (Drug Resource Enhancement against AIDS and Malnutrition), programme global de lutte contre le SIDA mis en oeuvre par la Communauté de Sant'Egidio. Le modèle suivi est celui des protocoles développés dans les pays de l'Ouest avec une thérapie basée sur les anti-rétroviraux et une prévention verticale mère-enfant.
